Bred by Hon. George Savile, Thames, Ditton, England. Imported from England to United States of America in 1910 by Homer Davenport, Morris Plains, New Jersey.
Sired a total of fifty registered purebred Arabian foals; forty-six of which were in the United States of America. Twenty-four were males, of which five were gelded, and twenty-two females. He was the premier sire of W. R. Brown Maynesboro Stud, in Berlin, New Hampshire.
Was known in England as Lal-i-Abdar. Straight Egyptian. 100% Crabbet.
