AIGLON C, ARABIAN, 1909
| Color: gr
Desertbred
A Foundation Horse
A Saqlawi Jidran imported c1920 to Egypt by Ahmad Ibish. [Alternate spelling: Eiglon]
NOTES: The above information (except for the dates, which are Al Khamsa estimates) is from the export document for Aiglon\'s daughter, *Exochorda, attested to by the Director of the RAS of Egypt and by the US vice-consul, and on file with the Arabian Horse Association. This document erroneously spells Ibish as Sbish.
However, in Plate #194 in the Raswan Index, Aiglon (with alternate names of Nisr or Shaqwa) is shown by a Kuhaylan Harqan of Ibn Damir out of a Dahmah Shahwaniyah of the marbat of al-Najib owned by the \'Ajman tribe. Importation into Egypt is shown by the \'aqayl, Muhammad Ibn Marzuki of Buraydah in al-Qasim province from Shaykh Sattam Ibn Sha\'lan of the Ruwalah tribe.
