BOBBIE BRUCE br. H, AUSTRALIAN STOCK HORSE, 1934
| Color: br
WH
Bobbie Bruce founded a good line of horses, many of whom will be present for many years to come. It has been said that Bobbie Bruce was the biggest influence on the early days of the Society. He died in 1967 as did his breeder Ernie Cowley. It has been said by many that this was the quietest line to be seen anywhere, and they were all very good. Bobbie Bruce also sired the great ASH stallion Muster, who was described by those who knew him as having the greatest temperament they'd ever seen in a stallion. The Cowley grandchildren learned to ride on him.
Bobbie Bruce horses were successful in all endeavours, from campdrafting, to jumping, show ring to polocrosse.
