(G1), Gotham S. (G2), Swale S., Gold Stage S. Champion 2-year-old colt in 1988. Sadly, Easy Goer died in the spring of 1994, much too early, from anaphylactic shock. He was a classic ``All-American-Racehorse``, and will surely be remembered.
Interestingly, EASY GOER was one of SUNDAY SILENCE`S biggest rivals, and this feat was a lot like the AFFIRMED-ALYDAR rivalry of 1978. EASY GOER would have followed exactly in his sire`s hoofprints-if he would have gotten second next to SUNDAY SILENCE, in the Belmont Stakes of 1989. SUNDAY SILENCE had won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes, with EASY GOER following right behind him. In the Belmont, however, EASY GOER took the lead over his top rival; putting SUNDAY SILENCE in second place in the Belmont.
