Bred by Nancy Bedford, Findeln Stud, VA. Bay with white star and white pastern (right rear). Her foals (Benlea Libery and Benlea Playboy - aka Pony Dot Com) by Benlea Rambler both showed the Sabino gene - a *pinto* pattern of white spots imposed on any coat color. In its most minimal form, it is often manifested as a wide blaze and tall stockings which come to a point as it rises up the leg, which can include odd white spots or *isolated* white markings (such as those exhibited by Pony Dot Com). Sabinos tend to have odd white spots on their bellies as well (Benlea Liberty). The sabino pattern appears to be linked to the chestnut color.
