Glyncadno Fairy King was awarded the 1995 Fourth Place High Score Award South East Region for Section B Stallions, under the ownship and handling of Kathy Gilker. \"King\"\'s sire, *Baledon Nobleman, was imported from Wales and was 2003\'s 28th Leading Pony Jumper Sire. King\'s grandsire Baledon Squire was 1978 Royal Welsh Champion. His granddam, Gredington Blodyn, was 1970 Reserve Supreme Champion and 1971 Supreme Champion Female and Reserve Supreme Champion at the Royal Welsh Show. Mrs. du Pont, of Liseter Hall Welsh Ponies, considers Liseter Bright Light one of her most successful sires. Liseter Bright Light (William x Farnley Fairlight) produced numerous fine ponies that can be found in today\'s Liseter pedigrees.
King was a backyard breeding stallion in the north for the majority of his life and then moved to Georgia, being discovered by Kathy Gilker of JAG Arabians of Alpharetta, GA. Kathy trained him and showed him a little in hand and undersaddle before retiring him completely for breeding. King produced four wonderful foals for Kathy Gilker, before well-known local hunter trainer, Roger Brown, took ownership of this stallion.
