Full sister ZENOIA (ch f 1919 SWEEPER)[a winner of the Prix Robert Papin 1100m (eventual G1)]. Golden Broom was noted as being white footed. Elizabeth Riddle\\\'s niece was Kathleen Jeffords. Golden Broom and Man O\\\'War had the same training track.

Changed name from \"Switch\". Mrs. Jeffords being niece of Samuel Riddle\'s wife, Jeffords and Riddles used the same training track in MD. Matched in 3 trials, Golden Broom proved quicker than Man O’War in 2 early trials. Man o\' War took the 3rd trial of 3f by a length in :33 flat, excellent time for that day.
White-footed w/ foot problems, developed a quarter crack after Saratoga Special. Never came back to his earlier form after the Sanford where he weakened. Died 1935.
