Bred by Royal Agricultural Society, Egypt. No Straight Egyptian horse exists today without him in the pedigree, often numerous times. Carl Raswan called Ibn Rabdan a - world champion - type. Foaled 5-17-1917. Strain: Hadban Enzahi. He was a dark olive chestnut with unusual white markings on his shoulder. Owners: Royal Agricultural Society, Cairo, Egypt. Chief sire during the reign of Dr. A. F. Branch, Director. Ibn Rabdan was considered to be one of the most beautiful breeding stallions of all time. Sire of fifty-three registered purebred Arabian foals (one of which was Fadl, central breeding stallion for Henry B. Babson). Died in 1944.
