Background on his dam Imboden's Frosty:
Her granddam, Freckles, was bred to Gringo, a Thoroughbred. This cross produced her dam, Lady Freckles F-370. Lady Freckles was accidentally bred to Hal Manning [Shola x Shiloh], an Arabian going to *Ibn Mahruss, producing Frosty, who was later registered as Imboden's Frosty.
Rio Dinero was originally named Plato Dinero, but was registered as the first horse with the AAA [American Appaloosa Associaton] by King Parsons as Rio Dinero.
