ing Larrygo of the rail in Baker, Montana in 1943 with Feek’s hired hand, Clyde Granning from Reserve, Montana. Feek purchased King from the Fox Chemical Company out of Iowa. The big chestnut weighed over a ton, stood over 18 hands, and won the blue ribbon at the Iowa State Fair in 1942. He would go on to produce only one colt, named Prince before being ruined as a stud.
