King of Harmony stood at stud in the 1950s and 1960s at Harmony Farms, owned by Dr. Ellis C. Moore at Olean, NY. Sired by Anacacho Shamrock, King of Harmony was a half brother to six-times World Champion five-gaited saddlehorse Wing Commander and a product of Dodge Stables/Castleton Farms at Lexington KY. Marvin Lane, who had trained Wing Commander prior to Earl Teater`s unprecedented show ring successes, also trained King of Harmony. In the mid-1950s Mr. Lane became Harmony Farms' manager/trainer at the Olean, NY stables.
