Tersk foundation mare. Bred by Janów Podlaski Stud, Poland, during WWII. As a suckling foal she was stolen away by the Red Army from Janów to the Tersk Stud in Russia, walking at the side of her dam a distance of 1800km; about 1100 miles.
Mammona produced 18 foals. The most influential of these were: Malpia, Magnolia, Metropolia, Monopolia, Nomenklatura and Pomeranets. All have themselves produced National Champions worldwide.
Mammona represents the common tail female lineage in the first group of Russian stallions imported to the US; *Muscat, *Nariadni, *Napitok, *Ptersk and *Marsianin.
