RAS 46. A Kuhaylan Mimrih
NOTES: The above information (except for birthdate and color) is from the 1932 certified pedigree for *Bint Bint Sabbah from the Royal Agricultural Society, which, however, shows \"Prince Mohamed Ali\'s Breed.\" Colin Pearson [1988, xxiv] says that Mashkour was bred by Prince Ahmad Pasha Kamal. This is probably correct, since Lady Anne Blunt (J&C: 3/10/1907) remarks on seeing the chestnut Kuhaylah Mimrihiyah (in context, Tarfa) by Dahman among the mares obtained late in 1907 from Prince Ahmad\'s son Yusef by Prince Mohamed Aly.
Further, Lady Anne (J&C: 12/22/1908) describes \"the chestnut Keh. Mimrieh (in context, Tarfa) and a 2 year old bay colt of hers by Sabbah...\" Based on this journal entry, Al Khamsa estimates Mashkour to be a 1906 bay stallion, bred by Prince Ahmad Pasha Kamal, with the *Bint Bint Sabbah pedigree indicating the stud at which he was used.
