PRINCE ROSE C, THOROUGHBRED, 1928 Color: b (GB) 17-16-0-1. Champion racehorse and classic sire While he raced in Belgium, he was probably the best colt of his generation in Europe He defeated the French champion filly Pearl Cap and other runners of note In Belgium, he won nearly a dozen stakes in his career and cemented his international credentials with a third place finish in the Prix de Arc de Triomphe and a victory in the Prix du President de la Republique 1938 retired to stud in France until he was killed when the stud fam was bombed during war in 1944 As a stallion, he sired three sons that were tremendously important: Princequillo, Prince Bio, and Prince Chevalier.
