Bred by Prince Ahmad Pasha Kamal, Egypt. Received by Royal Agricultural Society, Egypt, in 1921. A Kuhaylan \\\\\\\'Ajuz al-Rabdan (or Kuhaylan Rabdan). His strain is given as \\\\Kuhaylan-Rabda, Kuhaylan-Ajuz.\\\\ Received by the Royal Agricultural Society in 1921. Died 1923.
NOTES: The above information (except that the breeder is shown in error as Prince Mohamed Aly) is from the entry for Rabdan El Azrak in the RAS History, p41.
Lady Anne Blunt, upon visiting Prince Ahmad\\\\\\\'s stud [J&C, 3/10/1907], describes Rabdan El Azrak as a \\\\white Keh. Rabdan, his dam Rabda from Nejd brought by el Bassam, his sire Dahman.\\\\ Colin Pearson [1988, 21] says that Rabdan El Azrak was given by Prince Yusef (son of Prince Ahmad) to Prince Mohamed Aly. Prince Mohamed Aly is therefore the most likely person to have presented Rabdan El Azrak to the RAS.
