The great race producing mare Rose Time died in November 1987 at the age of 24.
She was unraced, but produced nine Appaloosa starters for combined earnings of $219,600.57. Her production record includes: Twenty Grand, stakes placed money winner of $9,546.03; Time Jet, money winner; Time Flies, an 11-time stakes winner and medallion winner with earnings of $87,317.72; Tex Time, money winner; Olympic\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Lil\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' Bro, stakes winner, ROM, and medallion winner with earnings of $44,055.50; Olympic Time, stakes winner-stakes placed medallion winner with earnings of $38,334.89; Deep South, stakes winner-stakes placed medallion winner with earnings of $36,258.60; and Black Widow I, ROM and money winner.
Time Flies and Deep South are two of her most well-known sons, with excellent records as runners and sires.
Rose Time was inducted into the ApHC Racing Hall of Fame for the year 1988.
