AAA, SW, SP held track records at 330 and 350 yds.
Senor Bill started 16 times during the season. A very fast but also very erratic horse, he won three of his starts, finished second five times, third three times, and was unplaced five times.
At El Paso in the fall, he set a track record for 330 yards; ran second to Miss Bank in the Sheriff\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Posse Stakes ... and then went on to Rillito to defeat Miss Bank by a head at the same distance (350 yards).
He did not win again until the 1947 Speed Trials at Rillito when he defeated Prissy, Hank H, and others in the 330-yard Speed Stakes in 17.4 seconds and equaled the world record for that distance.
Senor Bill is a very compact horse of excellent conformation. excerpt from Legends vol 1, p.81
