Of the seven Arabian stallions used, only Siglavy founded a separate dynasty of Lipizzan horses.This arab horse born 1810 in Syria came to the Stud in Lipizza in 1816. The Siglavys typify the Arab Lipizzaner with aristocratic heads, a slender neck, high withers and a relatively short back. Siglavy also founded a sire line in the Shagya breed and traces to modern - the picture shows the mare Siglavya ShA!!
