Johnson, when he was 4 years old (racing) Bruce's American Stud Book, 1873, Vol.2 (M-Z), p.375 (UNDINE); service in Kentucky ~ 1868, then sired in Illinois; probably owned by General R. Rowett, Carlinville, Ill.; Uncle Vic was a good race horse , and produced several first class public performers. His breeding is first - class on all sides, representing Lexington, Yorkshire, with two direct crosses of Boston and one of American Eclipse.
