Considerable controversy surrounds this horse, about which little is known.
Some believed him to be imported.
Other reports list his sire as Place's White Turk (imp. 1657).
He was described as yellow coloured and was likely a palomino, but no pictures exist. Picture found show him to be a buckskin with a snip. Buckskins are also described as a yellow horse.
He was bred by James D'Arcy the Elder.
