Studbook français 1851 : étalon Arabe gris, importé en 1834, acquis pour les Haras Nationaux en 1845, mort en 1850
Journal des Haras 1861 : Arabian stallion taken back to France by Clot-Bey (doctor to Mohammed Ali Pasha of Egypt) for H.H. the Duke of Orleans, gifted to Ernest Le Roy (royal squire) who sold him to the National Studs, sent to the Stud of Pau in 1845. Comments : very elegant horse but bad front legs, gave great air of distinction to his progeny and better legs then he had.
