When she was 25yrs old, Watkins was dared to match her against the TB. Famous,a grandson of Bonnie Scotland. She won the match on a circular track. Elias Watkins who rode Barney Owens,Peter McCue & Dan Tucker in races, said that Butt Cut was the fastest horse he ever rode. But according to the American Quarter Horse Association records, both sire and dam are unknown.
