Old Glory's Big Man ended Midnight Merry's 106-class winning streak when the two went head-to-head in 1950. Big Man was the first World Grand Champion to be owned and trained outside of Tennessee (he was from Florida). WGC 1950. He was born June 20, 1945 in Searcy, Arkansas at the Porter Rodgers farm.
