ST VICTORS BARB gr. H, BARB, 1703
| Color: gr
Brought from France by Captain Rider of Whittlebury, Northamptonshire, purchased from a Monsieur St. Victor. This horse probably dates to the first few years of the eighteenth century. His influence in thoroughbred bloodlines is remarkable, given his apparently limited opportunities. He was put to the grey Whynot mare in Rider's stud (Family 15) (by (Old) Whynot, a son of the Fenwick Barb), producing 2 colts and 2 fillies
