His richest son was Dudley Hanover p,T1:57.4 ($214,820). The mighty Tar Heel was his second fastest (p,4,T1:57 $119,148) behind Direct Rhythm, p, 1:56.1 ($171,802). Tar Heel was the only son who had a direct impact on North American breeding. Another of son, Garrison Hanover had that honor in Australia and New Zealand.
