A \"prodigious favourite with the public, and was as good as she looked; but it was her lot to live in the days of many first-rate horses...\" Won four races at age 3, against top colts and fillies, including a �200 match against Amphion, and ran second in the Oatlands, but did not place in the Oaks. At age 4 won the Swinley Stakes, beating the 1,000 Guineas winner and the Wokingham Stakes and dead-heated in the Audley End Stakes. At age 5 she won two match races, one against the colt Carthusian. Through daughter Corumba, ancestress of Your Majesty, Cylgad and Flying Bridge, Sweet Duchess and more.
