A rich cherry red bay. Foaled 1889, Witchita, KS. Died Dec. 13,1920, Nashville, TN. Breeder: H. G Toler. who sold the horse to John R. Gentry and James F. Ramey of Hughesville, MO. They sold the horse to William Simpson (a pawn broker), who consigned the horse to the Old Glory Auction Ring where he wold for a world record price for a pacer of $19,900 to Lewis J. Tewksbury who sold the horse to E. H. Harriman who retired him to TN.
Turf debut--1892. A World champion pacing horse who set 10 world records. Later he was shown in open bridle and won at least 10 blue ribbons. Even showed at Madison Square Garden Horse Show. Retired to stud in 1903 in TN. Sired trotters and pacers.
Fastest pacing stallion in the world.
