15.1, 1250 lbs, Chestnut, blaze. Foaled 4/20/1940, Halstead, KS, bred by Elmer Brown to a Helen Greenwalt Brunk mare. Registered Morgan progeny: 40 colts, 78 fillies. Brown bred Senator Knox to 4 mares, 3 of his own and one provide to him by Helen Brunk Greenwalt named Fanita 04736. There were 4 foals born in 1940, and Fanita produced a colt. Helen would transfer Fanita to Brown with the understanding that she would have the colt. Senator Knox died in late 1939 and the 4 Elmer Brown foals were the last of his get. The death of Elmer Brown in 1941 complicated the transfer of Senator Graham to Helen Greenwalt for the Fanita transfer. The colt was sold to Robert Tynan, Stella, NE, February 2, 1942, and later in 1942, transfered to Helen. In early 1943, Senator Graham was taken to the LU Sheep Ranch (LUSR) to be crossed with several of the Flyhawk and Linspar mares. Senator Graham was kept at the LUSR as a stock horse working there from 1943-1952 after which he was brought to Highview Farm, Illinois by Helen Greenwalt.
