Bred by Alex Bradford Jr.
Light bay.
Foaled 1906, Columbia, MO.
No registered Morgan progeny.
NOT TO BE CONFUSED with the original Sometimes by CHarles Reade, who, with his full brother Always won the Roadster Pairs World Champion title at the 1904 St Louis World Fair. These were perfectly matched chestnuts, never registered, and it was one or both of them who was sold to Mexico City. Different sources vary in saying whether one or both were sold or whether it was for $3000 or $4000. After selling one or both of his horses, Alex Bradford who owned them, bought a mare from Thomas Lafon, breeder of their sire, Charles Reade, and bred again to Charles Reade in hopes of getting another such horse.
