| Journal des Haras 1851 : bred by M. Wreford, England, and imported to France in 1846 by M. de La Place for 3,225 francs. Sent to Pau in 1850, Libourne from 1851 to 1857, then shot down because of broken bones. He had some honorable success on the Race Track as a 3 years old including Racing-Stakes at Goodwood and 100 £ at Salisbury.
Comments : a small horse but remarkably well put together, strong joints, very deep chest and very long lines. Getting older, he got very saddle-backed and week loins. He was very fertile but was not sent to Studs where he got right opportunities as a sire, although he got a couple of good purebred foals in the South of France.
