The stallion GNIADY ~1787 was purchased in Vienna, Austria around 1790 by Eustacy Sanguszko and imported 1793 to Slawuta Stud in Poland - owned by his family
Rumours were that Prince Eustachy was betting with someone and won the right to buy the stallion by his brave and artful riding of it, as it was a very insidious horse
Sire there of 2 Arabian foals - the stallion SZUMKA I 1805 (X POLKA 1800) and the mare POLKA 1808 (X POLKA 1800)
