Imp. to Bábolna in Hungary, by Fadlallah el Hedad in 1902.
Chief sire at Bábolna 1902-1919.
This stallion-line is still existing
in many countries.
Most of his descendants has very good
movements. And many has a great talent for dressage.
In 1919 shortly after the end of WW one, Romanian troups went inside Hungary and took a lot of horses as spoils of war.
Among the horses from Bábolna,
old Siglavy Bagdady was one of those.
But he never was found after this, and
nobody knows what happened to the old
horse ! He might have been injured, or
had became ill or too weak, because of age, to reach any of the Romanian
State Studs, where the other horses
were distributed to.
