Erroneously believed to be an OA Arabian mare, this mare was actually bred in France and fully recorded as being sired by an half-bred horse named Le Coquet.
Recorded as such in the first French Studbook 1838 under her dam's entry. She was sometimes confused with her half-bred sister Zaire, who was a purebred Arabian mare but left no known progeny.
