Foaled April 1, 1937, Osceola, IA. Bred by TC Doak. Around 1940, Delos Huff, a farmer/rancher of Spanish Fork, Utah traveled to Iowa and purchased Redish. About 2006, Delos Huff's son, Dale, said that Redish was a very good, handsome, well mannered stallion with color to match his name. He said that during the breeding seasons, his dad hauled Reddish and a Percheron stud around a wide area---breeding mares. He said that, during the winters, his dad delivered coal in the same truck. Delos Huff was one of the first Utah owners of registered Morgans. Later he owned the stallion Monte Leon. He also owned some mares that came from the L.U. Ranch in Wyoming.
