VALAT b. H, THOROUGHBRED, 1980
| Color: b Height: 16.1
(CZE)
Valát - czechoslovakian-bred and his pedigree is almost perfect - his father Norbert was a top racehorse in Central European region as a three year old. Valats dam Volga was from imported family of Vandoise. This family produced not too many stars, but many quality horses. Volga herself was second in Oaks and during international meeting she ran second and third in two prestigious races (Cena Prahy, Cena Berlina). Valat himself was a successful racehorse too - he won ten races and was placed in nine from 31 outings, having earned more than half a million. His stud career was short, but some of his offspring went to show jumping and warmblood breeding, where Valát is very well known for perfect riding horses. In czech there were maybe four or five horses like that quality until 1990s, and Valat was one of them. more: www.tbdiamond.cz/valat.htm
