Foaled 1-8-1936 Licensed stallion for Trakehners Sire of 9 registered purebred Arabian foals (1956-1964) He was also the sire of 2 Shagya Arab foals (1956; 1957) ๐๐ฑ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐ต (1936), a grey Arabian stallion bred at the Ujazd Stud of Baron Bicker in Poland, originated from Crabbet-based foundation stock. His dam Fasila, a daughter of Rasim, was among the mares imported in the 1920s, while his sire Fetysz later became chief sire at Trakehnen and influenced both Arabian and Trakehner breeding. From this pairing came Adonah and his full brother Sulejman, who was exported to the United States, while Adonah remained in Europe. Adonah survived the Second World War unlike his sire, and was transferred to Germany, where he stood as a state stallion before being acquired in 1952 by Dr. Karl Lehmann. At Haldensleben, he produced a significant group of full siblings out of the mare Rozka, including the stallions Abdullah and Raswan, as well as the mares Risala and Rawanah. After Lehmannโs death, Adonah moved to Rostock Zoo, where his daughter Arabella became his most influential descendant, continuing the line through the German Elite mare Arabeske. Adonah died there in 1963 at the age of 27. ๐ Read the full article: https://ahdb.eu/public/focus/127 ๐ธ Photo: archive References: - Arabianhorses.org/datastource
