Beautiful, noble, expressive, with a good frame and sloping shoulder. His head was somewhat unfriendly. Wide chest of a good depth. High cross and short croup. Very well-developed muscles, legs strong enough; ankles narrow and poor. Movement regular, promotional.
At two years old 8 starts 4-3-1, at three: 3 starts, one win.
As a sire he had too bad ankles which were usually inherited, especially by daughters; also his high cross was passed on. But his children had his good frame and excellent movement.
Sired very good carriage horses. They had excellent trot an made no difficulties when driving. They had a lot of temperament and a desire to go forward.
