Renamed from "Anita Moreland" on 08/28/1933 Broodmare Hall of Fame Belle Le Rose was a distinguished performer with several first-place victories to her name. Her winning streak began in 1931 when she captured the 5 Gaited Junior Stake at the World's Championship Horse Show under Earl Hutton’s guidance. She went on to triumph in both the 5 Gaited Mare Stake and the 5 Gaited Grand Championship at the 1933 World's Championship Horse Show, exhibited by Carl Pedigo. In the 1933 WGC, she defeated world champion five-gaited horses Sweetheart on Parade and King's Genius. During the second workout between those three horses, Belle Le Rose, gamed it out, defeating the two noted horses in the breed.In 1934, Earl Teater rode her to first place in three major classes: the 5 Gaited Mare Stake and the 5 Gaited Grand Championship at the World's Championship Horse Show, and the 5 Gaited Mare Stake at the American Royal. These victories not only showcased her versatility and elegance but also affirmed her legacy as a World’s Grand Champion among American Saddlebreds.
