NO ENTRY IN ANY GENERAL STUD BOOK!!; This horse is represented by authentic vouchers to have been of the true Arabian blood. He was foaled about 1750, and purchased by the British Vice-Consul, Mr. Welch, at Tetuan (Tétouan, Morocco), in 1757. He was kept as a covering horse in England till imported to this country, along with Granby, his son, in 17--.
