bred by Mr. Wilson; Fälschlich als von SHUTTLE abstammend gedruckt/ Incorrectly printed as descended by SHUTTLE, was never correted in the Stud Books!; The General Stud Book, 1834, Vol.1-2; p.326 (BENINGBROUGH MARE - her dam, CAMERTON's dam/ aka CARDINAL WOSLEY's dam -) dam of GOVERNANTE, by GOVERNOR; p.755 (PRECIPITATE MARE/ no foal by BENINGBROUGH, but barren by him in 1810; bay filly *1811 by SHUTTLE); p. 636 (GOVERNANTE, by Governor); We have to live with the fact that SHUTTLE is a misprint and must be printet BENINGBROUGH. All informations in this (1834) same Stud Book. Died 1819 in the property of Sir J. Byng; only 3 foals, missed by CERVANTES in 1818.
