Registered as Bleddfa Shooting Star (WSB 73) and Shooting Star (NPS 398). Major stallion of the Welsh Mountain Pony breed. Winner of innumerable first prizes and Championships, including five first prizes and Championships and four reserve Championships London, and six first prizes and Championships and one reserve Championships at the Royal Show. Towards the end of 1914, Sir Walter died, and in 1915 Mrs Greene, Grove Stud paid £280 and bought Shooting Star. Shooting Star was leased for two seasons to Dafydd Evans.
