After a short stud career in England, he was sold in 1897 to stand at Kisber Stud in Hungary, where he led the sire list five times: 1902-05 and 1908. Bona Vista died in 1910.
Bona Vista's sire was changed to Tadcaster due to a fraud where they substituted Bend Or with Tadcaster. DNA evidence has confirmed this. Please read the following article for additional information
