He sired a lot of hardknocking racehorses many of whom went on to have very good careers as hunters, jumpers and event horses. Many of our top riders and trainers, including former Team member Tom Gayford, looked for offspring by him coming off the track, and one of our top hunter riders said to me that he loved Brave Shots - they were beautiful, with great minds, and they could all jump. He was on the cover of the Canadian Thoroughbred Stallion Directory in 1991 - and very sadly died that year.
