Gustav ADOLF BOLLE/nee Fehlhauer, horse dealer, Magdeburg, Germany, Sachsen-Anhalt, in his stud GESTÜT BINGUM, near Leer/Ostfriesland. (Bolle/Fehlhauer:* April 22, 1876 Olvenstedt near Wolmirstedt, today = Magdeburg. Died Berlin-Tempelhof/Hospital St. Joseph, Oct. 6, 1938. (residential address: Magdeburg, Olvenstedter Str. 49). His second wife was Anna, nee Flessner/Fleßner ( *1876 Rysum/Krummhörn near Emden, died after 1947 Magdeburg, Germany). She continued to breed standardbreds. Owners of BRITTON in 1928: Erwin Elias and Max Zeiler/ stud Gestüt BRIESEN/Mark. Winner of the German Derby 1928. One of the best horses in this time (triple crown). Since 1933 sire in the stud Gestüt Gross Trebbow of Max Zeiler, near Neustrelitz, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. Offspring ~ 48. The stud farm was completely destroyed in World War II. Many horses died, were kidnapped or are missing. Last foals in 1950. (Deutsches Traber-Gestütbuch 1942, Vol. XII, ps. 991/992). Max Zeiler and his wife fought but could not save anything. Weeks of martyrdom. They watched the horses died from starvation, injuries and soldiers used them as targets if they didn't take them with them.
