PBAR Vol V. A stallion brought in to the Connemara breed with an Arabian father. He won in Clifden so that he would be popular to breed. He possibly brought a lot of temper to the breed and lack of length in the hindquarters. Offspring descended from C Auratum may have a sharper temper and short back end, looking more like an Arabian horse rather than a Connemara pony. The stallion line descending from Clonkeehan Auratum is small in number but is active in Ireland, Scandinavia, USA, Australia and Canada. Owner: Connemara Pony Breeders' Society, Galway, Ireland Breeder: Miss F Lee Norman, Clonkeehan, Slane, Meath, Ireland Markings: Near hind sock, Small star
