04/07/10: CONIE was an unregistered mare, she was NOT an Appaloosa; she was NOT by SPECK (aka COSTA’S SPECK). Her pedigree should remain UNKNOWN. I do have leads as to her sire, but until this information can be documented to the best of my ability, I prefer to keep it under wraps. CONIE did produce color when bred to Appaloosas.
