Bred by E. H. Haley & Bros., Springport, Cayuga County, NY, purchased in the Spring 1856, by a joint stock company at Conneautville, Crawford County, Pa. Passed in 1865, to E. H. Sankey, Espyville; 1867 to Richard D.Bacon, Potter's Corner. 1869, to Dr. L. E. Brayman, Pierpont, Astabula Co., Ohio; sold soon after to John Probst, Jamestown, Mercer Co., Pa., in this position he died 1869. Wallace's ATR, 1879, Vol. 3, p. 119/120; [corrected from Vol. 2!]
