Bay roan. Per Pat Mefferd, spot color updated at time of advancement to read White with bay spots over entire body. b/b Jim Bachman, Oreana, ID (ApHC T-1142)advanced to ApHC F-4625. Owned by Betty and Jack Veal, Auburn, CA. Per Jack Veal Crow was brought to CA from ID by Gene Lewis. Crow was the first WSTR/Tevis Cup recorded Appaloosa stallion to enter, compete, and finish the 100 mile Tevis Cup. Ridden in 1959 by Betty Veal they finished in the top 15 . Crow was noted to be in excellent condition and capable of easily continuing. His daughter Smokey Crow, and grandson Sandy Clagett, represented this stallion for a total of 6 Tevis Cup finishes including Crow credited to Crows legacy.
