By a Kuhaylan Nuwaq out of a Kuhaylah Ajuz of the Saba'ah
from Weatherby's General Stud Book, Vol XIV, p603 It is consistent with material from Archer, et al [1978, p96] and Upton [1980, p80], both said to be based on access to records of the Blunts, who also called the mare Jasmine and Lady Hester. According to both references, Dajania was purchased at Aleppo on December 25, 1877, through Shaykh Sayyid Ahmad of the Hannadi, a member of which tribe had stolen the mare from Muhammad Pasha.
