With a progeny of 12 foals, their combined prize-money was £7,250,000. She was considered a world class foundation mare for Watership Down Stud. Darara was pensioned from Watership after foaling champion Rewilding in 2007. She was sent to live at the farm of Philip and Lucinda Freedman and died of old age June 12, 2012 at age 29. Her most outstanding offsprings were: River Dancer-IRE a 1999 gelding ($1,639,491), Dar Re Mi-GB a 2005 filly ($4,359,112) and finally Rewilding a 2007 colt (£2,455,418).
